Staff Accountant
We are looking for a responsible Staff Accountant to perform a variety of bookkeeping, tax, and accounting tasks. Duties of the Staff Accountant include providing support to our managers and staff, assisting in daily office needs, and working with our client base. The ideal candidate should have excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to organize their work using tools like MS Excel and office equipment. Responsibilities
Review aged accounts receivable reports weekly.
Make required daily general ledger entries and month-end journal entries.
Manage businesses' accounting software accounts.
Update contact lists and act as a point of contact for internal and external clients.
Maintain and manage monthly client business accounts.
Complete all digital and hard-copy filing (QuickBooks, Microsoft Office Suite, etc.) as needed, including timely correspondence, letter writing, emails, and numerous telephone calls, and act on behalf of our various companies to vendors and clients.
Perform required tasks for payroll such as verifying timesheets, creating payroll reports, and generating checks for signatures.
Manage bank reconciliations and generate monthly P&Ls and Balance Sheets.
Prepare for meetings with superiors and team members with meeting summaries/memos.
Work closely with management on daily operations and manage or assist with departmental projects as they arise.
Establish positive and professional relationships with clients, vendors, and contractors.

Education
BS in Accounting or Finance degree required

Salary: $35,000 – $45,000/year
